Shazney Khan, the ex-wife of musician Mikie Wine, has found love again and tied the knot with her new man. She shared a heartwarming video on her TikTok account, showcasing her special day as she exchanged marriage vows in a beautiful ceremony held in the mosque.
Clad in a stunning white gown and simple makeup, Shazney Khan beamed with happiness as she committed to her new husband, whose identity remains unknown. The video was captioned with a simple ‘Alhamdulillah’.
The comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages from followers and well-wishers, praising Shazney Khan for moving on from her highly publicized breakup.
This comes after her ex-husband and father to her two children, Mikie Wine recently addressed the differences between his ex-wife, Shazney Khan and his current lover Pauline Kemigisha.
In a sit-down interview, Mikie Wine, also a brother to Bobi Wine, revealed that the reunion with his ex-girlfriend, Pauline was him acknowledging that he had made a mistake of taking her for granted and was now rectifying it. He realized that he had what he needed with him all along but had gone searching for someone else.
I realized the mistake that I did and thought I better rectify it and stick to that before it is too late. Sometimes it is hard for God to give you two chances. When I stepped back, I got to know what I wanted; you know in life, there’s a difference between what you want and what you need. In the beginning, I had what I needed and took it for granted. I needed Pauline but wanted Shazney, he noted.
Mikie Wine and Pauline dated way back but broke up, propelling the singer to move on to Shazney. On 2nd October 2021, the ‘Guno Omwaka’ hitmaker was officially introduced to Shazney Khan’s family in a lavish traditional Kwanjula ceremony after dating for a long time. The now ex-lovers sired two children before they broke up.
Rumors of their breakup started flooding social media in December 2022 until 2023 when it was no longer a secret that Shazney had officially parked out of the singer’s home. She deleted all his photos off her social media page.
In August that year, Mikie Wine made it official to his social media family after he expressed his love to his old flame, Pauline Kemigisha. Shazney on the other side, addressed their breakup, citing domestic violence and infidelity and in one of her social media stories, she advised women to stay away from dating musicians because ‘they will break your soul’.
