NBS After5 presenter Sheilah Gashumbah has come out to distance herself from allegations that she’s having a bond beyond business with Nigerian singer Ruger.
Michael Adebayo Olayinka famously known as Ruger arrived in the country earlier this month, performing at his averagely attended Big Brunch Concert.
According to Sheilah, Ruger was initially her friend before flying into the country for his maiden concert.

Sheilah Gashumbah stresses that she introduced Ruger to Uganda’s music scene, following her challenge with boyfriend Rickman on the singer’s bounce song.
She adds that the challenge went viral, which saw Ruger’s music top chats in Uganda and his home country Nigeria. This was enough to land Sheilah a public relations role on the singer’s team.
Sheilah Gashumbah further narrates that it is no surprise even when Ruger got into the country, he opted for Sheilah’s services whom he knew was a staunch supporter of his career hence, returning the favor.
She rubbished rumors of dating the singer adding that her relationship with Ruger is work-related nothing beyond.
News coming in indicates that the socialite has a PR company that promotes Western African music, and local talents.
Sheilah and Ruger are currently in Rwanda where the singer is bound to perform in a series of concerts.
