Celebrated musician Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleon shocked his fans during a televised interview on NBS After5 when he said he considers selling his funeral to any interested promoter.
He backed his statement saying his funeral will sell out, owing to the fact that many people worldwide will need to witness his send-off.
He further explained the essence of this is to enjoy the fruits of his stardom when he is still alive.
Jose Chameleon noted that Ugandans should develop a culture of appreciating their favorites when they are still alive. He added that many people currently recognize the late Moze radio but they failed to do so when he was still alive.
He stressed that some Djs and media personalities can’t play his music, but the day he will die, they will play his music for a week to commemorate him so sad.
The Valu-Valu hit maker recalled a chat with his manager Mutima, where the two discussed on selling the singer’s funeral to any interested promoter, and it will be the promoter’s choice to choose the venue.
