Socialite Zari Hassan has shared a touching and personal desire to be close to her children even in death, highlighting the great impact they have had on her life.
The devoted mother of five, during her speech at the annual National Women’s Day in South Africa, revealed that she wants to be buried with a photo of her children, a sign of the immense love and devotion she has for them.
“I’m a mother of five. My biggest achievement is actually my kids. So, when I die, I want people to bury me with a picture of my kids just to show the Lord what I did. This is the one thing I really did best,” Zari Hassan said, apologizing to the audience for the excitement that engulfs her when it comes to her kids.
The South African-based Ugandan businesswoman has long been in the limelight because of her controversial relationships.
She is a doting mother to five children – three sons Pinto, Raphael, and Quincy from the late Ivan Ssemwanga, and two; Latifah and Nillan from Tanzanian bongo flava star, Diamond Platnumz.
Zari Hassan and the late Ivan Ssemwanga officiated their relationship in a lavish Kwanjula ceremony in 2004. Unfortunately, the union ended in 2014 with Zari accusing the father of her then three children of domestic violence. They stayed co-parenting.
In May 2017, Ivan, 39, passed on while Zari was in a relationship with Diamond Platnumz, the father of her last two children. They later broke up in 2022 over cheating allegations.
