Sheilah Gashumba strongly advises girls to be cautious when accepting dates from men who cannot provide them with a minimum of 300 USD or 500 USD to prepare for the occasion.
She argues that women often invest their own money to enhance their appearance for a date, only to receive a simple meal in return.
According to Sheilah, this is an unfair exchange that places the burden of financial investment solely on women.
In addition, she pointed out that men can easily enhance their appearance with just a simple haircut, without requiring much effort.
To avoid being taken advantage of, Sheilah Gashumba emphasizes that girls should allocate a minimum of 200 USD to prepare for a date.
This includes expenses for grooming, clothing, and other preparations. She warns against spending all of one’s money on a date, only to end up with nothing in their account afterwards.

Sheilah Gashumba’s main concern is that girls should not be left financially depleted after a date, especially when the other person has not made a comparable investment.
She encourages girls to prioritize their financial well-being and not allow themselves to be taken advantage of by individuals who do not value their time and effort.
