Sports media personality Andrew Kabuura has watered down the hype that comes with Valentines’ Day, saying it is just like any other normal day.
During his discussion with fellow media personality Sheila Tusiime about the plans for the day that is fast approaching this Friday, Kabuura revealed that he doesn’t find the day that important because he treats his wife the same way every day.
He acknowledged the excitement surrounding the lover’s days but he confessed that he was not the type to spend weeks planning for it.
Kabuura is officially married to Flavia Tumusiime and the couple have three children. Ever since they made their relationship public, the couple has never shied away from displaying their affection for each other without being defined by a day that comes once a year.
“There is too much energy around Valentine’s Day and that is not for me. My wife is my Valentine like every day. There is obviously new excitement to it but it is not like I spend weeks and months planning and being excited about it, no; I’m not the type. Apart from the daily flowers and gifts, I do not add anything. We will just go for a fantastic meal and have a nice day but I’m not a flower guy.

I have lunch dates with my wife almost every day but I simply have to make sure that on that day, the lunch actually happens; no one has to get busy, the schedules are organized and we do lunch or breakfast,” Kabuura said.
