Beenie Gunter’s return to Uganda after weeks of detention in the UAE was met with great excitement and relief.
The popular singer had been arrested in Abu Dhabi following a bar brawl. His unexpected detention shocked and saddened his fans and the music industry as a whole.
During his time in custody, Beenie Gunter received an outpouring of support from his fellow musicians and industry professionals.
Many individuals came together to raise funds to assist with his legal proceedings and secure his release.
Although he was eventually granted a bond, travel restrictions prevented Beenie Gunter from returning to Uganda until his case was fully resolved.
This added to the anticipation and eagerness of his fans, who eagerly awaited his return. Today, their prayers were finally answered as the singer was able to come back to his home country.
The singer was welcomed through Entebbe Airport by his lovely baby mama Nicki Berry, their son and a few close friends and fans.
The joy and happiness were palpable, with everyone expressing their excitement and gratitude that their favourite artist was finally home.
