Singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has been arrested upon landing at Entebbe International Airport.
For several weeks, Bobi Wine has been soaring his political ambitions in the diaspora. He concluded his engagement with several stopovers in South Africa where he engaged with several Ugandan communities.
He later announced his return to the country on the 5th of October 2023 and urged his devotees to welcome him in big numbers at Entebbe International Airport.
Since his announcement, the police have issued warnings against Ugandans engaging in acts that could destabilise the nation, with Entebbe Road receiving special attention.
At 10: Am Bobi Wine touched down the +256 amid stringent security at the Airport, and he was immediately taken into custody for reasons yet to be established.
Despite his personal security opposition to the arrest, they were overpowered and Bobi Wine was forced into the waiting car and taken to a secret location.

According to reports surrounding his arrest, Bobi Wine was cruised straight to his home in Magere to avoid destabilizing the country with his supporters.
