Today, the highly anticipated wedding of the Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, as he marries Inebantu Jovia Mutesi, is currently taking place.
The sacred ceremony is being held at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja District, with the esteemed presence of Achibishop Stephen Kazimba Mugalu overseeing the proceedings.
Notable figures from various cultural backgrounds, including Queen Sylvia Naginda of Buganda, Queen Best Kemigisa Akiiki of Tooro, and politicians such as Rebecca Kadaga and Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, have graced the occasion.
Additionally, the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to appear as a special guest at the event.
To ensure the safety of the esteemed guests and the newlywed couple, stringent security measures have been put in place. Following the wedding, the couple will host their reception at the Iganga Palace.
