In the wee hours of 07th June 2023, Ugandans were gutted by the news of the sudden death of the celebrated musician, actor and former Rubaga South member of parliament Kato Lubwama.
The news of Kato Lubwama’s death news was first revealed by events promoter Andrew Mukasa alias Bajjo Events through Tiktok.
According to one of the doctors at Stana Medical Centre in Bunamwaya, Kato Lubwama was rushed to the medical facility after collapsing while in the car returning to his home from his duties.
At the hospital, the doctors discovered that neither his heart nor his pulse were still beating. The doctor believes that Kato Lubwama had already breathed his last when his driver rushed him to the hospital.
He added that before his demise, Kato was battling high blood pressure and diabetes conditions, and he had an intestinal complication that saw him flown to Turkey where he was operated and discharged in 2022.
