The respected Katikiro of Buganda, Eng. Charles Peter Mayiga has come forward to offer his counsel and guidance to archenemies Pallaso and Alien Skin. The clash between the two artists has been making headlines with a number of prominent figures discussing the matter.
Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga first expressed his concern over the fight, questioning why they didn’t seek his guidance instead of resorting to physical attacks.
He stated that he is more than willing to stand in and resolve their differences so as to find a peaceful solution.
“They fought nearly killing each other and I’m wondering why they did not come to me for guidance. I can help them solve the problems instead of them trying to kill each other,” he said.
The Katikiro further emphasized the outcome of this fight on Pallaso and Alien Skin’s fans who may now be hesitant to attend their shows ever again due to the fear of getting caught in the crossfire.
He encouraged the two parties to always separate their careers as musicians from politics. Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, however, advised them to participate in politics as their constitutional rights but to avoid taking sides.

“Politicians will use you and after they reach their goals, they will dump you. You will not be able to go on with your career because people will not see you as a politician. Artists are free to support and vote for whoever they want but when you’re done, leave them alone and go your separate ways,” he said.
