Reports coming through confirm that singers Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu will be holding their music battle at Kololo Airstrip.
For several weeks now, singer Sheebah and Cindy have been throwing jabs at each other during their respective press conferences, with each arguing that they booked Kololo first for their concerts.
Reports that followed the pair’s bickering hinted that the singers were drawing publicity for their impending music battle sponsored by Victoria University.
Earlier today, however, during a press conference, Victoria University vice-chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganaga during a press conference confirmed rumours.
According to Dr. Lawrence Muganaga, they have been closely monitoring the saga between Cindy Sanyu and their ambassador Sheebah Karungi.
He noted that following a discussion with the two musicians, a decision was made that they hold a musical battle to settle the debate.
Yes, the bickering is going on, I don’t if they will even ever meet and shake hands I don’t know, I don’t know what everyone is thinking if they will even ever call each other and speak I don’t know but one thing I know come September 15th there going to battle each other responsibly and entertain Ugandans.
The musical battle is slated for 15th September 2023, at Kololo Airstrip, but the entry fees had not been levied by press time.
