Singer David Lutalo left revelers astonished after he announced that he would be taking on the responsibility of paying school fees for the children belonging to one of his ardent female fans until he finishes primary level.
The events unfolded while David Lutalo was on stage during one of his shows; one of the female fans made her way from the audience to where the singer was and professed her undying love and support for him.
According to the unidentified woman who was heavily pregnant, she started supporting Lutalo in her early childhood days and because of his hit songs, she lost concentration in school. This earned her a serious beating that gave her a forever scar and she was seeking to know how the singer would compensate her for all that.
“You released your first song Kapapala, I was in primary three by then. It was the only song I danced to at school and became last in class. I do not know how you are going to pay me for that,” the woman wondered.
She confessed that her firstborn was in primary one and studied at St. Mary’s Katikamu where she was paying Shs. 700K in tuition. David Lutalo promised to take on the responsibility as a sign of appreciation for her undying support for his music.
“I am going to look after that child until he completes primary seven. That is quite an amount of money but I promise to pay the school fees,” Lutalo said as he hugged the woman who was emotional.
When asked if her husband or baby daddy would agree to the generous offer from another man, the lady revealed that she was a single mother and solely responsible for the child’s welfare.
