Singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso of Team Good Music has stated that Nigerian musician Davido approached him first about working together on the ‘Twatoba’ blockbuster.
In 2014, Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adekele alias ‘Davido’ jetted into the country for a performance at Freedom City.
Davido later linked up with Pallaso, and the two embarked on working on a music project dubbed Twatoba, which was released in February 2015.
However, Pallaso has disclosed that Davido approached him first, in contrast to most music partnerships where local performers initially beg foreign stars to work with them.
Apart from Twatoba, Pallaso said Davido contacted him for another collaboration, but the song wasn’t achieved owing to some unforeseen hiccups.
