The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo has revealed that Nina Roz’s intentions of criticising the federation are aimed at soaring her political ambitions.
After tracing the UNMF exit, Nina Roz condemned Ugandan artists under the umbrella who are focusing on receiving government funds instead of fighting for the copyright law that is bound to help the entire entertainment industry.
Nina Roz’s remarks come following reports that the federation received UGX. 13 billion from the government and it has been shared amongst the top-notch leaders of the federation.
While addressing Nina Roz’s claims, Eddy Kenzo noted how Nina Roz was just seeking attention since she made her intentions clear of contesting for a political post in 2026.
“Nina Roz wants to contest for a parliamentary seat and this is the only way for her to gain popularity to get more votes,” Eddy Kenzo said, reluctantly.
