The 87th Makerere University Freshers ball didn’t end as planned following revelers turning chaotic and throwing flying objects at the podium.
At the time of the chaos, Eddy Kenzo was on stage thrilling party thirsty Makerere revelers as they had spent almost two years without such an event.

The party drunk MUK students started storming the podium to have a moment with the self-proclaimed young Mandella, something Eddy Kenzo couldn’t sustain.
He urged them to get off the stage, a failure he was ready to go bare-knuckles with the students.
This left a sour taste in the mouth of the revelers, resorting to throwing flying objects at the singer. Eddy Kenzo ran for his life with aid of his bodyguards and management.
This called for Uganda Police’s intervention, firing live bullets and teargas to disperse the furious Makerere students with a chaotic background.
Among others, one of Eddy Kenzo’s crew members Fik Love was struck with a bottle on the head leaving him nursing a serious cut on his head.
