Famous Ugandan TikTokers Crying Foul After Losing Their Highly Followed Accounts to Hackers

In the fast-paced world of social media, TikTok has emerged as a platform where creators can showcase their talent, entertain millions, and build a loyal following.

However, this popularity has also attracted the attention of malicious hackers who seek to exploit the vulnerabilities of these renowned TikTokers.

For these content creators, their TikTok accounts are not just a means of self-expression, but also a source of income, recognition, and connection with their fans.

They invest countless hours into creating and curating content that resonates with their audience, carefully crafting their online persona and building a community around their brand.

Therefore, the loss of their accounts due to hacking is not just a minor inconvenience, but a devastating blow to their hard work and aspirations.

Over the weekend, several TikTokers including upcoming singer Papa Zapata, Tom Dee’s girlfriend Agatha, Official Puma, and ‘Winnie wa Mummy’ fell prey to this skyrocketing vice after their accounts were taken over by a yet-to-be-established person.

Based on some TikTok account owners’ revelation, they were enticed into initiating certain codes that were sent to them, under the pretence of being offered over 100GBs of data.

The victims expressed their frustrations through subsequent videos, cautioning their acquaintances to avoid becoming victims of the skyrocketing vice.
