Hon. Francis Zaake and his wife Namirembe Bridget joyfully announced the birth of their daughter Elsie Zaake on 1st January 2024.
However, today Zaake disclosed that their baby arrived prematurely at 7 months gestation. This unfortunate event occurred when his wife fell down 15 stairs during their holiday health vacation, resulting in the placenta rupturing and causing a dangerous mixing of her blood with the baby’s.
To safeguard both their lives, an emergency cesarean section was swiftly performed, successfully bringing their baby girl into the world.
Since then, their precious daughter has been receiving care in an incubator, bravely fighting and growing stronger with each passing day.
Meanwhile, Namirembe Bridget is steadily recovering, displaying remarkable resilience in the face of adversity.
