After several weeks of auditions and live shows, the Britain’s Got Talent grand final has been held today 04th June 2023.
Uganda-based dance group Ghetto Kids are some of the acts that took centre stage in the finals, having made it through the semi-finals where they won the public vote.
The group which has been performing together since 2014, delighted the audience earlier today at the finals with their break-dance routine to Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William, which was mixed in with the popular 2010 World Cup hit (Waka Waka) This Time For Africa by Shakira.
However, despite their best efforts to impress the judges and win £250,000 as well as a spot to play at the Royal Variety Performance, the Ghetto Kids’ endeavours were unsuccessful as they lost to Viggo Venn.
The Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn has been crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2023, scooping the £250,000 prize and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.
