During Fik Fameica’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval last night, singer Grenade Official was apprehended by the police.
Grenade’s arrest was a result of the offences seemingly committed in the year 2023, which included physically assaulting fellow singer Rickman Manrick and causing him multiple injuries.
Reports indicate that Grenade was subsequently released after the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president and fellow singer Eddy Kenzo secured him a bond.
In a video posted on his social media accounts, Grenade Official expressed his disappointment with the events of 2023 but remained optimistic about the upcoming year, 2024.

He extended his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and offered apologies to those he had hurt, emphasizing that he never intended to cause any injury.
