After a nine-month gestation period, Hajat Kulthum Nabunya and her husband Akram Gumisiriza welcomed their first child together
Hajat Kulthum broke the news of her delivery while taking part in a phone interview with Sanyuka TV’s gossip show UNCUT.
She mentioned that she had given birth a few days earlier but, for reasons best known to her, she felt it best to keep the exciting news to herself and her close friends and family.
Hajat Kulthum, who was clearly thrilled by the news, emphasised that both she and the infant are in excellent health.
Hajat Kulthum gave little details about the infant, albeit she did mention that the child was named after his father, to become Akram Junior.

The baby is the couple’s first child together, but Hajat Kulthum’s second since she has a child from her first marriage with the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata.
