Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo’s mother Mrs. Prossy Mayanja has revealed that her son almost ran mad following the death of Mowzey Radio.
Ugandans ushered in February 2018 in a sorrowful state following the sad news of Mowzey Radio real name Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo’s death.
Mowzey Radio died on 1st February 2018 at Case Clinic in Kampala following a blood clot in his brain sustained in a bar brawl in Entebbe a few days earlier.
He was laid to rest at Kagga-Nakawuka in Wakiso District And till now Radio is remembered in the last week of January.
His passing left a significant void in the music industry as well as then singing partner Weasel Manizo.
Weasel has never recovered his artistic form since Radio’s passing, and as of this publication, his musical career is in its final strides.
While taking part in an interview earlier today, Weasel’s mother discussed how her son almost lost his mental capacity following Radio’s death.

She adds that the media surged the situation when they criticized Weasel for being unable to sustain the Goodlife music camp after Radio’s death.
Mrs Prossy Mayanja goes on to say that it required her intervention and that she counselled her son to relieve the stress that was building up.
