Sad reports on our news desk indicate that one of the late Isma Olaxess’s widows is on the verge of being evicted from her rental unit.
In May this year, renowned Ugandan blogger Ibrahim Tusubira Lubega alias Isma Olaxess Jajja Iculi was shot dead near his home in Kyanja.
Isma’s death affected many, including one of his widows identified as Fatuma Nakanjako who is currently in a poor financial state.
In an interview with Bukedde TV, Fatuma disclosed that her landlord intends to evict her from her rented unit failure to clear her accrued rental arrears to zero balance.
She stated that although her monthly rent is Ugx 50K, she hasn’t been able to raise the money for the past six months, making her rent obligation Ugx 300K.
Fatuma’s landlady revealed that she has been patient with her for the last six months, but she is also facing challenges of raising her kids’ school fees who are currently in candidate classes, the rentals are her primary revenue stream.

In order to raise her rent and send her children back to school, Fatuma Nakanjako pleaded with musicians Sheebah, Eddy Kenzo, Balaam, and Maama Fiina to step in.
According to rumours, Fatuma Nakanjako was one of the widows Isma used to care for and was not, in fact, his wife.
