One of the most decorated and celebrated Ugandan musicians Mesach Ssemakula revealed that he has never heard of singer Bebe Cool.
As the saying goes, ”the internet never forgets”. There is a video clip circulating on social media that was recorded in 2019 during one of singer David Lutalo’s concerts.
The video portrays singer Mesach Semakula backstage, in an interview with a YouTuber who asked him what he made of the annual Bebe Cool list that had taken social media by storm.
Mesach Ssemakula cheekily questioned who Bebe Cool was, before inquiring whether it is a company or auditors.
In the next minutes that were cut out of the circulating video, Mesach clarified that his objectives went beyond being on Bebe Cool’s list.
The singer stressed that as long as his fans appreciate his work, and the Kabaka once graced one of his shows, that is enough to be proud of.
He however maintained that Bebe Cool is an artist, who is entitled to his own opinion.
