Leone Island Empire musician Jose Chameleone has been given a heroic welcome to Uganda following months of grappling with health challenges.
Towards the end of last year, Jose Chameleone faced serious health complications that saw him flown to the US for specialized medical treatment.
Based on the medical reports, Chameleone was experiencing acute pancreatitis that required immediate surgery and medical reviews.
Fortunately, the singer’s health improved significantly, thanks to US-based businesswoman and socialite Juliet Zawedde, his caretaker.
Yesterday, Chameleon bid farewell to his US friends and caretakers before his return to Uganda earlier today through Entebbe International Airport.
The Bayuda singer’s return has been met with excitement from his ardent fans, friends, and family, who converged at the airport to give him a heroic welcome.

A long motorcade escorted the singer from the airport amid cheers and chants. Chameleone is expected to hold a party tonight at one of the hangout spots to celebrate his recovery and return.
