Sad reports on our news desk indicate that Leone Island Music Empire boss Jose Chameleone real name Joseph Mayanja is critically ill.
The news of Jose Chameleone’s ailment was disclosed by fellow singer Gravity Omutujju, following a surprise almost one-hour phone call conversation yesterday.
Gravity revealed that he called Chameleone prior to his medical surgery, as he has been battling gastrointestinal complications for a while.
The Trouble Entertainment singer pointed out that during his phone call to Chameleone, they got into several topics, including his recent misdeeds and issued an apology to him.
Speaking in a phone call interview with Bukedde TV, Jose Chameleone’s father Mr. Gerald Mayanja acknowledged that his son is sick, and is currently in the USA undergoing specialised treatment.
Mr. Gerald Mayanja added that for a while, Jose Chameleone’s health has not been in its normal state, and has been to and fro the hospital for some time.

He mentioned that the singer occasionally performed at some gigs while wearing a canular due to his prolonged ailment.
Furthermore, Mr. Mayanja made it known that Chameleone’s health deteriorated while on a musical trip in the States and was urgently taken to the hospital facility where he is currently for a medical evaluation.
