Juliana Kanyomozi expresses her gratitude towards Bobi Wine for providing her with a breakthrough song.
While working at Capital FM, Juliana had the opportunity to meet Bobi Wine, who had listened to some of her English songs.
It was during this encounter that Bobi Wine suggested collaborating on a project together, resulting in the creation of “Taata Wabaana”.
Juliana clarifies that she initially had reservations about singing in Luganda, as most of her music was in English.
However, her collaboration with Bobi Wine turned out to be a huge success, dominating the airwaves for a significant period of time.
Despite the success, Juliana faced criticism from music enthusiasts who believed that her talent was solely attributed to her collaboration with Bobi Wine.
Fortunately, she received a solo song called “Nabikoowa” from renowned writer Silver Kyagulanyi, which further solidified her music career.

Juliana reveals that after the success of “Nabikoowa”, she made the decision to focus solely on her music career and leave behind her radio presenting duties.
