Special Senior Presidential Advisor on Greater Masaka Region Affairs Justine Nameere and husband Kennedy Nsubuga on 30 January 2024 held their colourful wedding ceremony.
The couple’s journey towards legalizing their union began last year, and they meticulously planned and executed various traditional events leading up to their special day.
The couple’s journey started with an engagement ceremony, where Kennedy put a ring on it and made a commitment to each other officially.
This event was followed by Kukyala, and Introduction, the traditional Ugandan pre-wedding ceremonies which were held at Nameere’s parents’ home in Masaka.
Throughout their journey, Justine and Kennedy faced criticism from some individuals who questioned their age difference.
