In preparation for her highly anticipated Chekecha Concert on November 17, 2023, dancehall singer Karole Kasita went above and beyond to make a positive impact on the community.
She took part in a charitable initiative to support the members of the Wembley Mo Foundation, a foundation dedicated to providing care and support to underprivileged children.
Karole Kasita visited the foundation’s residence on Salaama Road and generously donated essential supplies.
She provided four bags of posho, a staple food in Uganda, to ensure that the children would have enough to eat. Additionally, she donated four bags of rice and four boxes of cooking oil, cartons of soda and water, ensuring that the foundation would have a well-rounded supply of food.
But Karole Kasita’s generosity didn’t end with material donations. She also recognized the importance of education and provided bursaries for select members of the foundation to pursue their education up to the university level.
This incredible opportunity was made possible through the support of Victoria University, highlighting the power of collaboration in making a difference.
Karole Kasita’s partnership with Bolingo On Yo TV played a crucial role in making this philanthropic effort possible. Through this collaboration, she expressed her deep concern for the well-being of the children under the care of dancer Wembley Mo, the founder of the foundation. Her dedication to making a positive impact on their lives was evident in her actions.
