Nazizi Hirji, the one-half of the defunct Necessary Noize, is grieving the untimely passing of her son, Jazeel.
A press statement released through Nazizi Hirji’s Instagram account revealed that Jazeel tragically lost his life on December 25th, 2023, in Tanzania.
The young boy’s demise occurred as a result of an unfortunate accident that took place at the hotel where the family was residing. Today, Jazeel was laid to rest in Nairobi, in accordance with his religious customs.
During these sombre moments, the radiance of a child’s existence, with all its innocence and joy, remains undoubtedly the purest.
In honour of her son, Nazizi earnestly implores the media, fans, and the public to uphold the sanctity of family and the preciousness of life.
She requests that they provide the family with a period of privacy and show respect as they navigate through this indescribable sorrow.
The statement further appeals to everyone to grant Nazizi and her family the space they require to embark on the healing process.
