King Saha Appointed UMA Vice President

Former Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidential aspirant King Saha has today been announced as the newly appointed vice President.

Earlier today, UMA through its president Cindy Sanyu Okuyo announced a major reshuffle in its Cabinet, Committees, and Secretariat.

The reshuffle saw singer Manisur Semanda alias King Saha bag a Vice presidential seat. UMA attributed Saha’s appointment to the position to his wealth of experience in the music industry, coupled with his unwavering dedication to the advancement of Ugandan music.

According to a press statement accessed by Exclusive Bizz, King Saha’s appointment as Vice President and the strategic reshuffle of leaders invigorate their journey toward a stronger, united music community.

With the inclusion of King Saha as Vice President and the introduction of new regional and sub-regional leaders, UMA is paving the way for a brighter future for Uganda’s music industry.

The Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) is pleased to announce a significant reshuffle within its Cabinet, Committees, and Secretariat, aimed at invigorating the organization’s efforts in championing the interests of Uganda’s vibrant music industry.

Key Announcements:
New Vice President: UMA is thrilled to introduce Manisur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha, as the newly appointed Vice President of the association. King Saha’s wealth of experience in the music industry, coupled with his unwavering dedication to the advancement of Ugandan music, makes him a valuable addition to the UMA leadership team.

Regional and Sub-Regional Leaders: In an effort to foster inclusivity and representation across all corners of Uganda, UMA has initiated a reshuffle of regional and sub-regional leaders. This strategic move aims to ensure that every artist’s voice is heard, regardless of their geographical location.

These changes are designed to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table, fostering a stronger sense of unity and cooperation among members.

Following the suspension of UMA elections by the Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development and the announcement of O government funding for a nationwide election, UMA will continue to function under the interim regime.

This interim period underscores UMA’s adaptability and commitment to
ensuring the uninterrupted advancement of Ugandan music.
