Clarification and Apology Regarding False Claims of Death and Fraudulent Activities
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am issuing this statement to address a series of distressing events that transpired yesterday at approximately 7:15 PM. During this time, my phone was stolen by robbers at a roundabout. Unfortunately, I was online when the theft occurred, and the robbers immediately accessed my WhatsApp account. They maliciously posted a false status update announcing my death, which led to widespread alarm and confusion.
Regrettably, this false claim resulted in many of my contacts being called and subsequently defrauded of money. I want to assure all my clients, friends, and family members that I, IVASH RS, am alive and well. I remain committed to serving Ugandans in the creative industry,
I deeply apologize to those who have been contacted and defrauded due to this incident. Measures have been taken to replace the compromised phone line, and any calls made to that number will now be handled by CLOUD AFRICA management to prevent further fraudulent activities.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support
Regards,
IVASH RS
