Media personality Jenkins Mukasa revealed a disheartening truth about the Kawanda vigil held in honour of Juliana’s late brother Prince Edward Freeman Kim.
On 1 November 2023, Juliana Kanymozi announced the death of her brother, before a commemorative gathering at the late’s residence in Kawanda.
Despite the event being a significant moment for Juliana and her family, it seemed to have been overlooked by most musicians in the industry.
Other musicians merely expressed their condolences through social media, without making any effort to attend the vigil or burial.
According to Jenkins Mukasa, the absence of support from fellow musicians was evident, with only Peter Miles and Don Brasco making an appearance.
However, their presence was short-lived as they left early, departing at 8 AM. This lack of solidarity left Juliana and her family feeling isolated and unsupported during such a difficult time.

Amidst the disappointment, there was one exception – Bebe Cool. Despite his busy schedule and being unavailable in the US at the time, Bebe Cool managed to convey his sympathies directly to Juliana and rendered financial assistance.
