Muslims around the world are preparing to begin the Holy month of Ramadan which has been confirmed to start tonight after the sighting of the crescent Moon.
This sacred month is considered the Holiest month in Islam and it is observed through fasting, charity work, and increased prayers.
During this time, Muslims fast from Dawn to sunset, refraining from food, drinks, and any bad habits such as gossiping, fighting, and lying while focusing on doing good deeds, prayer, and reflection.
It is a period of reflection, devotion, and generosity as it unites the Muslim community and encourages them to give help to those in need.
