Mesach Semakula has revealed that his heart skipped a bit when veteran songwriter Paul Saka asked him to redo one of his songs.
As Paul Saka gears up to commemorate 33 years in the music composition field, he opted to bring back to life one of his big music projects dubbed “Munsi Eno Okozemuki”.
To achieve this, Paul Saka requested former Eagles Production singer Mesach Semakula to jump on the rendition, citing that with the latter’s vocal prowess, he will do justice to the song.
While appearing in an interview with Spark Tv, Mesach stressed that Paul Saka’s request saw his heart skip a beat, since Redoing tracks of this caliber at times draws harsh criticism from music enthusiasts.
He added that he has managed to overcome his fears, and is currently in the studio laying the foundation for the song remake.

Mesach maintained that since the song’s original version was lengthy, he will try to rephrase it, to suit the current music duration trend, without losing the song’s major key points.
Paul Saka’s 33 years of music writing will be celebrated on June 11, 2023, at the Serena Hotel, and Mesach is set to provide a performance of “Munsi Eno Okozemuki” as part of the celebration.
