The just-concluded first iteration of the Nyash Festival featured exhibitors showcasing Nyash in all its forms.
“Nyash” is a slang term commonly found among young people which is derived from Nigerian and roughly translated to mean buttocks.
Over the weekend on the 19th of August 2023, all roads led to Forest Resort Lweza along Entebbe Road for the Festival.
Gates opened at 8:00 AM to welcome both the Nyash exhibitors and those that intended to partake in some optical nutrition.
Feffe Bussi, Kataleya and Kandle, Gravity Omutujju, Mc Mariach, and King Saha were just a few of the musicians who performed at the event.

The event’s organisers announced that the second edition will take place at a later date after the first edition saw an enormous turnout.
