The Rwandan music industry on Wednesday 17th August 2022 was gutted by the death of R&B, and Afrobeat Singer Yvan Buravan.
Yvan Buravan best known for his single dubbed ‘Malaika’, first received pancreatic cancer treatment from Rwanda and Kenya, before being flown to India with the ruling government’s assistance.
Unfortunately, the singer lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday night at the age of 27 and was later pronounced dead.
The sad news of the singer’s death was revealed by his management, who issued a statement via their social media platforms.
The statement urged those who were impacted by the singer’s death to remain united through this miserable moment.
