Socialite and next media presenter Sheilah Gashumba is confident that her boyfriend singer Rickman Manrick can lead Uganda to the world cup if he becomes the FUFA president.
Over the years, Uganda has worked hard to qualify for the coveted world cup tournament, but their toils have never been successful.
The African Cup of Nations in 1978 saw The Uganda Cranes, the national team, place second, which was their best result.
Sheilah Gashumba, though, is confident that her boyfriend Rickman, a renowned footballer and singer can break the chain if given a chance to be the President of the Uganda Football Federation in the future.
Sheilah’s remarks came shortly after Argentina defeated France in Qatar to claim the FIFA world cup title.
No sooner had Sheilah made the divulgence, than internet users reacted differently, with some arguing that the singer should first demonstrate his leadership prowess in the Uganda musician association.

On the other side, others praised Sheilah for consistently putting on a brave front and supporting her partner.
