Spice Diana Claps Back at ‘Gwokute Gwobba’ Remix Critics

Source Management singer Spice Diana has responded to the constant criticism and negativity surrounding her decision to do a remix of Uncle Chumi’s Gwokute Gwobba.

Several critics, including promoter Abitex Promotions and fellow musician Kapa Cat, came out to diss Spice Diana’s verse. Kapa Cat noted that the original version was better than the remix because Spice Diana was not good at dancehall.

During an interview with Spark TV, Spice Diana reminded all the critics how the remix has been trending number one on different music platforms.

“That means I fell off with my fans because they are busy streaming the song, and it is trending. The song is very nice, and Chumi is my friend. I wished her well, and she did the same for me. We both wanted it, and it was okay. We have done so many remixes, and many are still coming up. I do not know what the haters will feel,” she said.

When the remix was released, a number of people, like Abitex, claimed that Spice Diana was dragging her brand into the mud by collaborating with a TikToker.

They claimed that Uncle Chumi, who gained popularity on TikTok, was just using music to trend, and it would greatly affect Spice Diana’s career.

Spice Diana defended Uncle Chumi, claiming she is a talented artist who discovered her niche and is now earning a lot from her new career as an artist.

“Who do you consider as an artist because Chumi is now making so much money that many of you are not making. I have seen her struggling before, but now she is getting gigs worth millions, meaning music is working out well for her. People should be happy for her because no one saw it coming,” Spice Diana mentioned.
