Champion Ogudo’s elder brother Swaba Champ has spoken out about their scandalous decision to turn down Counsel Nalukoola Luyimbazi’s scholarship offer at Takuba Primary School, citing an unclear motive behind the offer.
There have been reports that Counsel Nalukoola is planning to contest for Kawempe North parliamentary position in the next elections and he was going to use this scholarship to gain influence and attention from his potential voters.
Swaba Champ has been under fire with netizens crucifying him for denying his brother a chance to study by turning down this scholarship but appearing in a TikTok live session, he set the record straight that there was no way he could trust his brother’s education in the hands of someone who might get him mixed up in the dirty game of politics.
He said he loved his brother too much which is why he thinks choosing a different sponsor for his education is the best decision for him.

Swaba Champ further revealed that the new school he had his brother enrolled in gave him their assurance that they would sponsor his education up to the end of his primary level and they made him sign contracts for it.

How can I leave out a school that is giving my brother a scholarship up to primary seven together with my other baby brother. How can I make the same mistake twice? What if he gets to a point and runs out of money and cannot sponsor him anymore? You want me to blame me when he doesn’t go to school anymore because of lack of fees?
How can I leave a school that I have even signed a contract for with an extra sibling. Sometimes you should first find out why someone makes a decision before you come out shouting,” he said angrily.
