TikTok sensation Yash Popy real name Yasin Majid is over the mood upon acquiring a fully paid bursary to pursue training in acting at one of the prestigious film schools in Nigeria.
During an interview, Yash Popy revealed that he got in touch with Tiwa Savage’s management way back after making a viral TikTok challenge featuring one of the singer’s songs.
His connection with the management gradually stalled out until a few weeks ago, when he received a call from them with an offer of completely sponsored training.
Yash Popy stated that although Tiwa’s management had recommended him to pursue acting, he had initially intended to enrol in a production course.
Yash left for an interview at the Nigerian embassy in Uganda after accepting all the terms and conditions, which he aced with flying colours.
Later, he left the country and travelled to Nigeria via Entebbe Airport. Thanks to Tiwa Savage, he will soon enrol at the famed Del-York Creative Academy in Africa.

His entire acting training programme is being funded by prominent Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage and is expected to last two months.
