Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) has earlier today treated dancehall singer Cindy Sanyu to a surprise baby shower.
In February this year, Cindy went public about her pregnancy and acknowledged initially trying to conceal it but had to give up because it was becoming bigger every day.
As her due date draws closer, Cindy’s workmates at UMA and fellow musicians took it upon themselves to treat her to a surprise baby shower.
Hanson Baliruno and Lanek took Cindy to the party location before the waiting attendees surprised her with a scream of welcome.
Later, Cindy walked to the dressing room to change into the clothes that were waiting for her. Later, she joined the group of guests at the party, which also included Hanson Baliruno, Phina Mugerwa, Allan Toniks, Lanek, and Siima Irene.
While addressing the media, the exhilarated dancehall singer conveyed her appreciation to everyone that contributed towards the surprise party.
Cindy Sanyu went on to say that she had stopped her family from throwing her a baby shower party but had no idea that UMA would and she doesn’t take the gesture for granted.

The baby shower was highlighted with a cake cutting and a gift reward to the singer before calling it a day.
