The Warafiki girl group, consisting of Tori, Eyla, and Treezyare, is the latest addition to Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Singed under Steve Jean’s Fenon Records, Friday, 8th December 2023 will forever be a watershed moment for the “Warafiki” girls as they released their debut music project under the record label.
Dubbed “Bwekati,” is the trio’s first release, categorized as Afro-Pop; however, the singers stress that they do not wish to limit themselves to a single genre.
They perceive themselves as adaptable artists capable of delving into diverse genres like Afro-zouk, Reggae, RnB, and Tecno, among others.
As they continue to work on their upcoming projects, Warafiki is determined to push boundaries and explore new sounds and styles. They are eager to collaborate with other artists and producers, both locally and internationally, to further expand their musical horizons.
Warafiki’s debut music project is not just about the music, but also about the message they want to convey to their audience.
“Bwekati” release marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Warafiki as they look forward to garnering a significant following on social media, as well as their fan base.
