Ugandan film actor Mathew Nabwiso reveals that when he proposed to his wife Eleanor Nabwiso, she didn’t know how to cook so he taught her.
The two local film actors met on the set of the TV series ‘The Hostel.’ Nabwiso notes that since he is a calm person, he needed someone with more energy and Eleanor was the best option.
They initially became friends, who got open to each other. This is why I support the saying ‘Marry your friend.’ Nabiwso noted during an interview on NTV Mwasuze Mutya
A while into their romantic relationship, Nabwiso set out to ask for Eleanor’s hand in marriage before the couple became engaged.
However, Eleanor confessed that she was a terrible cook, but Mathew promised to educate her if she had the correct mindset.
That is exactly what happened. I never left the kitchen during our first years, but she learned and even sent me out of her kitchen afterwards.

The pair is currently happily married, have four children together, and looking forward to celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary on October 20.
