The Queen Elizabeth National Park was marred by a horrifying incident as unidentified assailants unleashed a wave of violence, resulting in the tragic killing of innocent tourists and their knowledgeable guide.
The incident unfolded today evening 17/ 10/ 2023 when a group of tourists embarked on an adventurous safari through the vast wilderness of the park.
Little did they know that their journey would take a sinister turn, forever altering the peaceful atmosphere that had long characterized this renowned tourist destination.
As the tourists and their guide delved deeper into the heart of the park, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and an abundance of wildlife, they were suddenly ambushed by a group of assailants whose motives and identities remained shrouded in mystery.
With ruthless precision, the attackers unleashed a barrage of gunfire, leaving the unsuspecting victims defenceless and vulnerable.
The chaos that ensued was both terrifying and heartbreaking, as the assailants callously ended the lives of two tourists and a guide, before torching their tourist vehicle Reg; UBF 303C in which they were travelling.

According to a press statement released by the UPDF authorities, the attack was initiated by the ADF insurgents, who have been causing terror in various regions of the nation for a prolonged period.
