Renowned Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi and his family mourn the untimely passing of his brother Fred Omondi who died on 15th June 2024.
According to reports surounding Fred Omondi’s death, he succumbed due to a road accident that happened at Kangundo Road on Saturday morning.
It is said that the tragedy happened after a Bod Boda carrying Fred rammed into speeding Matatu, killing the comedian and the rider surviving with several broken limbs.
They were both rushed to Mama Lucy Hospital for treatment where the rider received treatment, while Fred Omondi’s body was taken to the hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Fred’s death has been met with sorrow, as many entertaiment industry players in East Africa cotinue to send in their condolence messages.
