One of the late Tamale Mirundi’s widows has expressed her disappointment with the late political analyst’s orphans who have refused to support her daughter with medical aid despite receiving substantial condolence funds.
According to the window, during the late Tamale Mirundi’s vigil, the daughter was given eyeglasses, that seemingly birthed a medical condition that has affected her eyes.
The medical condition saw Malaika experience excruciating eyes and body pain, which has seen her lose her vision as her eyes are always insulated to reduce the light.
The mother rushed her to Mengo Hospital, where she was diagnosed and the medical team prescribed costly medical treatment.
Following an optometrist’s medical examination, he revealed that Malaika’s eyeglasses would cost over Ugx 4-6M.
However, based on the leaked audio recording, the mother revealed that she is not financially stable, hence seeking assistance from her stepson John Mirundi who was one of the people entrusted with the collected condolences.
To her disappointment, John turned a deaf ear, as he no longer picks up the step-mom’s calls or financially supports ailing Malaika.

Furthermore, she noted that her only option is to sell off her belongings like TVs, Beds, and mattresses among others to save her daughter’s life.
