Singer Alien Skin, real name Mulwana Patrick, has hinted at taking a political path, a while after signalling his intention to step away from the music industry.
A few months ago, Alien Skin disclosed his intention to depart from the music industry in December this year, to pursue alternative endeavours.
His declaration raised a few eyebrows, as critics pondered his plans. However, their doubts were dispelled over the weekend, when he exhibited traits of venturing into the realm of politics.
Based on the videos circulating on social media, Alien and his team can be seen wearing outfits adorned with FUP, enthusiastically grooving to their party anthem “Twende”.
The principles of Alien Skin’s FUP remain undisclosed as of the present; however, critics argue that its objective is to neutralize Bobi Wine’s political wing NUP.
The singer’s entry into politics has been met with mixed reactions from the public. While some have welcomed his decision to use his platform to effect change, others have criticized him for lacking the experience and expertise needed to navigate the complex world of politics.
