Barbie Kyagulanyi penned a heartfelt message as she celebrates her 12th wedding anniversary with her husband Bobi Wine.
On 27th August annually, singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie commemorate their wedding anniversary.
Having dated for 10 years and sired children together, the couple decided to get married in a ceremony officiated by the late Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga at Kampala’s Rubaga Cathedral on 27 August 2011.
Over the weekend on Sunday, the pair marked 22 years together which include 12 years of holy marriage and 10 years of courting.
In a lengthy social media post, Barbie Kyagulanyi revealed how Bobi Wine has all the qualities she prayed for in her ideal man way back in senior five.
Barbie thanked her husband for giving her the wedding she had never at any one point dreamt of, choosing to present their Union before God, for committing to go grey and decrepit with her.

In future, when I am too old and I have memory loss, I am sure that I won’t forget how our wedding day made me feel. Happy Anniversary Babe. I love you most.
Barbie disclosed that they marked their manumental spot where Bobi Wine proposed to her at One Love Beech Busabala with a photo booth, that will since be used by lovers to create love memories.

When you came into my life, You made it your sole duty to elevate me at any given opportunity. You continue to highlight the best parts of me and mostly those I never knew I had.I can’t appreciate you enough for the kind of person you have succeeded at turning me into. When I prayed and fasted for a husband back in my Senior Five, I wrote down a number of qualities.
You have them all! What I forgot to include in my prayer book, was how funny my man was supposed to be! Babe, I love how you pick out the funny parts in any event! You make me happy! You make me laugh even during the hardest moments and I appreciate you for that.

We have built a photo booth at this very spot where we sat when he told me the story of how he had bought my engagement ring from a random buy-and-sell shop in South Africa. Ring on my finger, we sat at this spot at One Love Beach Busabala watching the water waves on the lake and looking at the rays of the moonlight reflect on it.
