Fast-rising singer Biswanka Derick has sparked speculation after he announced a concert on the 21st of February, the same date that Alien Skin selected for his concert at Hotel Africana.
The concert is organized by renowned promoter Abitex and despite being in the industry for a short time, Biswanka believes he is ready to hold his own.
While many people think Biswanka picked that particular date on purpose to spite Fangone Forest, the youngster in an interview noted that he was not aware that Alien Skin had booked the same date for his concert.
He denied the allegations of clashing with Alien Skin out of the respect he has for him and noted that he would give them an exception if he approached him and asked him to reschedule.
“I do not have a problem with Fangone Soldiers; in fact, I’m just learning now that there is a concert that day. But if they feel that I will give them a hard time, they can as well approach me and talk it out; maybe I might reschedule. But I have no ill intentions, and I call upon music fans to support him. Uganda has very many people so we can support each other. I respect Alien Skin so much because he was my former boss,” Biswanka.
Biswanka revealed that the proceeds he will get from the concert will positively impact his life, financially support his mother back in the village, help him sort out financial problems, and also take care of people who are looking up to him.

He has called upon Ugandan artists and music lovers to come through in large numbers and support him as he marks the beginning of a very important chapter in his career.
